I know this isn’t your typical “Get Out Of There Cat” post, but I wanted to share my little girl, Kit Kat. You see, she passed away last night and left me and my son devastated. She got Bob Cat Fever by a tick bite. We did not catch it in time. Let me tell you about our sweet little girl.
She was always sleeping on my laptop, or other places. If I went to the fridge, I always had to give her a saucer of milk. Kit Kat loved her milk. She was a great hunter too. She would bring home lizards, field mice and once tried taking down a full grown rabbit.
I found Kit Kat when she was about 5 weeks old. She was in a ditch at the corner of a busy intersection. It was a 108 degrees that day and I couldn’t leave her there. I picked her up, brought her home and fed her. She never left. She was the only cat that I’ve ever known, to come when she was called.
When she wanted loving, she’d curl up into my arms and tuck her head in my hand and purr like a roaring motorboat. She would sleep with my son, watching like a sentry over him while he slept. She was the best little girl and will be sorely missed.  I’ll understand if you can’t post this, but I wanted to share her with you anyway. Thanks.
